When we capture an image, it’s the time and space of a corner of the universe, frozen in a composition.
The facts: handheld, Nikon D2xs with a 24-70 lens at 2.8f. It was already dark at the beach. The moon was out. I held my breath and pressed the shutter.
The time and space was during a week of photographing Bali with a group of passionate photographer friends. We laughed a lot, and we lived and breathed photography together as we walked all over the island. We chased light from dawn to sunset and then spent the evening around good meals reliving the pleasure of creating harmony out of light.
Good times, y’all. Go get some for yourself in your corner of the universe.
