The persistence of light

"Let the beauty that you love be what you do." - Rumi
Balinese wedding by Aloha Lavina

Some days you might feel like someone has taken a generous brush and with huge swathes of motion obliterates all the surfaces through which light can enter.

Dark days like that should not really exist for the light chaser. A camera, handled with care and craftsmanship, can ‘see’ whatever sliver of light is available and allow for that meagre light to add to beauty.

“Let the beauty that we love be what we do,” the poet Rumi reminds us.

You owe it to your soul to find that light.
